The NBA hosts an off-season tournament in Las Vegas. This Summer League has the main purpose of being a testing ground for new players and new ideas, while at the same time prolonging the NBA presence throughout the year for fans.
We were tasked with updateing the fan experience with marketing, logistical information, fun ads, and fan photos. This still being the early years of the Summer League, every interaction point had to subtley underscore the event as a new fixture of the calendar.
As lead on this project, I was involved in the design and ideation of our signage system which included two archways, an interactive video wall, and integrated stadium channel to play on TVs throughout the venue.
In addition to my design work I also was present for the install and initial days of execution make sure the deployment was smooth and the client could use the system.
